About
Suzanne Nelson
Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a mental health and behavioral health therapist who utilizes Person Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques in an integrative therapeutic approach. She also utilizes and practices Solution Focused Therapy. She values the importance of listening, which in turn allows an individual to be heard. She believes each individual is able to define who they are rather than be defined by their past, a trauma, a disease, a life transition, and/or a fear. A part of her philosophy is incorporating these aspects of ourselves to become independent of them and become who each of us know to be.
Suzanne moved to Colorado in 2004 from Indiana. She enjoys hiking, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering. She enjoys learning about others, differences, diversity, and commonalities.
Suzanne founded Purposeful Growth, PC in 2016.
